So please if you would like to use anything here ask first. Thank you B.K. Hello My name is Kendra but I am known to people as Brassy K. I was given the nickname Brassy K when I was in Jr high and it has stuck. I am a hugh Stepfanie Kramer fan and I have been since the first time I saw the Television show "Hunter" where she played the "BRASSY" homicide cop Dee Dee McCall. The show celebrated its 15th anniversary this past September. It first aired on September 18th, 1984. After one season no one ever thought that is would make it through 6 seasons. Ok ok, 7 seasons but ask any Hunter fan and they will tell you the same thing. After Stepfanie left at the end of the 6th season the quality really went down hill. Fred and Charles did the best with what they were given. Personally I think the writing suffered and the chemistry between Fred and the new "sidekicks" was not there at all! Well enough of that. You are not here to read about me or my opinions except for the ones on the co-star of Hunter Stepfanie Kramer. Were to start. Stepfanie was born in the San Fernando area (Rumored Chatsworth CA) on August 6, 1956 and was raised in Los Angeles. She stands at 5'7" and she weighs.....do you think I would really tell you that if I knew? She has been acting and singing most of her life has trained as an operatic singer. Her range is amazing at mezzo soprano. With being born in LA and having an upbringin with a musiacl family it is no wonder Stepfanie started into show biz. Stepfanie Kramer has been in several outstanding movies and was the co-star of the show Hunter with Fred Dryer. The 5'6" (at the beginning of filming) could really hold her own when it came to working next to the very tall Fred Dryer. The "Brass Cupcake" Det. Sgt. DeeDee McCall was a great match with the former Rams and Giants player. The two gave each other the edge most partners in cop shows are missing. After working on the show Hunter for 6 years Stepfanie moved on to work on her music career. She worked in the field before starring in Hunter but she took the first one that sky-rocketed. She performed in well-known bars and clubs in the LA area nightly. After all of the speculation that the lovely Stepfanie was getting married (to several different gentleman at one time or another, including one of Freds friends) she proved them wrong when she shocked the tabloids. She married Mark Richards a finacial advisor in Aspen Colorado on May 24, 1992 at the Saint Mary's Church. They are also the proud parents of Lily Clair Richards who was born November 14, 1994. They have a house in Denver and also own another home in Colorado. Although a lot of us were sad to see her leave the show we are all happy the she has been able to expand her career in singing and film. I am sad to add that it was announced in the Jan. 29, 2001 copy of People magazine that Stepfanie and Mark have seperated and their divorce was finalized in Jan. of 2001. She and Lily have relocated to Stepfanie's old stomping grounds in LA. She and Mr. Richards share custody of their daughter Lily. I am very happy to announce that on OCTOBER 12, 1999 HER FIRST ALBUM WAS RELEASED TITLED "ONE DREAM". She describes the music as "melodic, with sophisticated sensibilities and intelligent lyrics." I will talk more about her music career on the past projects page. So surf on over when you are done reading here. She has been busy with the album, the movie The "DogWalker", and getting ready for the reunion movie "Hunter in China". Stepfanie and Fred are teaming up again but this time as a Lt. and not a Sgt. After leaving the show to move to London I am wondering how they are going to explain this one. For more information on "The Dogwalker" check upcoming projects! From what I have read Stepfanie is very spiritual. She has been known in the past to use crystals but it is unknown if she still does. Also when she was younger she would read about metophysics. There has not been many write ups on Stepfanie since 1995 when she starred in "Deceived By Trust: A Moment of Truth Movie". She won an award for Native Americans in The arts for this movie. If you have missed it check Lifetime network to see when it will be playing. LMN "Lifetime Movie Network" is also playing "Coins in the Fountian" with Loni Anderson. As most fans know the series was brought back for two movies in 2003! 5 episodes to follow after the kick off movie on April 12, 2003. If all goes well as the executives are thinking they will with the ratings, in July of 2003 the series HUNTER will film episodes to finish out the season.
