Take a kid out hunting or fishing. this really will mean a lot to them no matter what their age is. Teaching this skill to young ones will be a sure way to keep hunting and fishing around for a long long time. Be sure to take them out somewhere that you know you will catch fish (so they dont get bored waiting for a bite). Or take them on a hunt that isnt extremely physical. If you want them to keep coming with you out in the woods or on the water make sure they have a great time.

My first hunt was when i was 12 in my home state, minnesota for squirrel. I was with a good family friend out in the woods with my 20 gauge single shot New england shotgun. And after 20 minutes of walking and looking up at the trees i finally saw a fat grey squirrel and shot and dropped him. That first hunt was the most special hunt i had ever been on.
