ABOUT ME

I completed my degree in Medical Terminology
at Prince George's Community College (Maryland) in
1979 and worked for over 20 years in a busy OB/GYN
office as Office Managager, Doctor's Assistance and
Personal Secretary until I retired in December 1999 at
age 66. I worked with patients in diet and nutrition
including those with gestational diabetes. I was
certified in Blood Pathogens, Osha Requirements,
ICDM9 (international Classification of Diseases) CPT
(procedure coding) and did extensive work with PDR
(physicians desk reference) as well as the
Compendium of Drugs and Patient Information. I
designed and implimented chart information to meet
to meet the requirements of various insurance
company reviews and I did the ICDM and CPT coding
for our Office Computer.
