Hi, this is Paul, and welcome to the Web site which I originally created six years ago when I was one of eight candidates running for three seats on the Port San Luis Harbor Commission in the November 2000 election!
Whereas the address http://www.maxpages.com/bain2000 was reported by the local media in the year 2000 as being the address of my official campaign Web site; therefore I maintain this address for the purpose of keeping local voters and other interested parties updated on how I'm doing and what I'm doing, etc, etc...
To this very day, I am amazed by the fact that although I didn't win a seat on the Port San Luis Harbor Commission, I received the most votes of all the inexperienced, nonincumbent challengers! Not bad for a candidate who was 27 years old, who had no previous political experience, and who worked as a pizza cook at a children's family entertainment center!

2006 UPDATE:
Due to the tragic and devastating death of my mother Marilyn Sue Wilcox-Bain on March 12th 2001, an unnecessary death which my mother herself could have prevented, my very personality has changed, and I have decided to drop out of politics completely. As a matter of fact, if I had have won a seat on the Port San Luis Harbor Commission in the November 2000 election, I would have resigned almost as soon as I would have taken office, because my mother became fatally sick at that time and she had to go to the hospital.
However, as one of the two founders of the Port San Luis Trailer Park's "Virtual Babe Lane" Web site, a Web site with two domains, http://www.portsanluistrailerpark.com and http://www.virtualbabelane.com, I continue to serve as that Web site's administrator, and I plan to do so for as long as I live. Of course, the Web site is no longer political. Instead, it is run strictly in the spirit of objective freelance journalism.
Thank you for visiting - and thanks also to everyone who cast their vote for me six years ago!
Love,
Paul
