This is an Abrell Family web page

The Abrell story beging with the immigrant ancestor, THOMPSON ABRELL, who came to this country from England. I do not know his birth date and know only that his death occurred sfter 1801 when his son was born ( Lynzie Cravens Abrell ) We do know, however, that he married CASSANDRA CRAVENS and that they were the parents of the following children :

1. JOHN ABRELL - married BETTY MONTGOMERY
2. JAMES ABRELL - married JENNIE HOLMES
3. JACOB ABRELL - married MARGARET NEED
4. LYNZIE CARVENS ABRELL - married SARAH ASHLEY
5. NANCY ABRELL - married - THOMAS WHITE

After their arrival in this country, the Abrell family traveled to Kentucky where they settled for a time. later, members of the family moved westward into Indiana and Illinois where hundreds of desdendants live today. Further research into the records of these states should reveal a wealth of information.
