Limp Bizkit
Limp Bizkit Biography
Limp Bizkit is a band from Jacksonville, Florida. They started out on around late 1994. Fred and Sam met up and became good friends when Sam suggested his cousin, John Otto, to play the drums for the band. Later, Wes was brought into the picture and Limp Bizkit was started. They got their name when Fred was talking to his friend (and now roadie) when said that "his brain was like a limp biscuit." So Fred liked it and the name of their band's history.
This is an awesome band that already has a large fan base from touring in bars and clubs, and for opening for bands like Korn and the Deftones. They also appeared on the venue for the '96 Warped tour in Jacksonville. Limp Bizkit played in the '97 Warped tour. After the Warped Tour, they opened for Faith No More. That lasted from September 'till mid-October. After that, they toured with Primus in November and Deftones in December. They also played Nookie in Woodstock '99.
Limp Bizkit is going to appear on a soundtrack for a Wes Craven film. They are going to use the song Stain, formerly known as Strain, which was a song recorded during the Three Dollar Bill Y'all$ sessions but cut from the album. Fred did a song with KoRN on their third album, Follow the Leader called "All in the Family". Fred and DJ Lethal also recorded their own version of Wicked that might appear as a B-side to a Korn single in the future. The band has also recorded another cover by Jane's Addiction, entitled "Jane Says". This song may also appear on a single in the future.
